Graduation from high school is a great cause for celebration. For decades now, NCHE has partnered with homeschooling North Carolinian’s in publicly marking this momentous event.

Graduate Profile

NCHE has a long history of printing graduate profiles in the Greenhouse Report. We are regularly told that this is one of our favorite issues for two reasons. First, it provides the family an opportunity to celebrate their student. Secondly, it provides the community of homeschoolers a way to be encouraged about the possibilities for their students.  New and seasoned homeschoolers alike take great delight in the photos and descriptions of interests and burgeoning careers they find in the pages.

This past year marked a significant change in NCHE publication format and schedule. The Greenhouse Report is now the quarterly GREENHOUSE. We adopted this new strategy to better serve NC homeschoolers, and part of the change included enhancing the graduate issue. May 2013 will mark the publication of NCHE’s first annual Special Graduate Issue of GREENHOUSE.

In addition to the basic graduation profiles, it was our goal to give families and support groups more opportunity to publicly share their students’ stories by placing an ad in the issue. It is our hope that the Special Graduate Issue will function as a memento of a student’s graduating year.
